French doctors: Half of all prescribed medicines are ‘useless or dangerous

Half of all medicines being prescribed by doctors in France are either useless or potentially dangerous for patients, according to two eminent medical specialists. They blame the powerful pharmaceutical companies for keeping these drugs on sale at huge expense to the health system and the taxpayer.

Professor Philippe Even, director of the prestigious Necker Institute, and Bernard Debré, a doctor and member of parliament, say removing what they describe as superfluous and hazardous drugs from the list of those paid for by the French health service would save up to €10bn (£8bn) a year. It would also prevent up to 20,000 deaths linked to the medication and reduce hospital admissions by up to 100,000, they claim.

In their 900-page book The Guide to the 4,000 Useful, Useless or Dangerous Medicines, Even and Debré examined the effectiveness, risks and cost of pharmaceutical drugs available in France. Among those that they alleged were “completely useless” were statins, widely taken to lower cholesterol. The blacklist of 58 drugs the doctors claimed are dangerous included anti-inflammatories and drugs prescribed for cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, osteoporosis, contraception, muscular cramps and nicotine addiction.

The Professional Federation of Medical Industrialists denounced the doctors’ views as full of “confusions and approximations”. “This book is helping to alarm those who are sick needlessly and risks leading them to stop treatments,” it saidin a statement.

Christian Lajoux, the federation’s president said: “It is dangerous and irresponsible … hundreds of their examples are neither precise nor properly documented. We must not forget that the state exercises strict controls on drugs. France has specialist agencies responsible for the health of patients and of controlling what information is given to them.”

Professor Even told the Guardian most of the drugs criticised in the book are produced by French laboratories. He accused the pharmaceutical industry of pushing medicines at doctors who then push them on to patients. “The pharmaceutical industry is the most lucrative, the most cynical and the least ethical of all the industries,” he said. “It is like an octopus with tentacles that has infiltrated all the decision making bodies, world health organisations, governments, parliaments, high administrations in health and hospitals and the medical profession.

“It has done this with the connivance, and occasionally the corruption of the medical profession. I am not just talking about medicines but the whole of medicine. It is the pharmaceutical industry that now outlines the entire medical landscape in our country.”

The French consume medication worth around €36bn every year, around €532 for each citizen who has an average 47 boxes of medicine in cupboards every year. The state covers 77% of the cost, amounting to 12% of GDP; in the UK spending on medicines is 9.6% of GDP. “Yet in the UK people have the same life expectancy of around 80 years and are no less healthy,” said Even.

The authors were commissioned by former President Nicolas Sarkozy to write a report over the Mediator affair, a drug developed for diabetes patients but prescribed as a slimming aid, that has been linked to the deaths of hundreds of patients who developed heart problems.

However, Even accused the industry of having a get-rich-quick attitude to making medicines and said it was interested in chasing only easy profits. “They haven’t discovered very much new for the last 30 years, but have multiplied production, using tricks and lies.

“Sadly, none of them is interested in making drugs for rare conditions or, say, for an infectious disease in countries with no money, because it’s not a big market. Nor are they interested in developing drugs for conditions like Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease because it too difficult and there’s not money to be made quickly.

“It has become interested only in the immediate, in short term gains. On Wall Street, the pharmaceutical industry is third after petrol and banking, and each year it increases by 20%. It’s more profitable than mining for diamonds.”

Asked to explain French people’s apparent dependence on medication, Even said: “For the last 40 years patients have been told that medicines are necessary for them, so they ask for them. Today we have doctors who want to give people medicines and sick people asking for medicines. There’s nothing objective or realistic about this.”

He added: “There is nothing revolutionary in this book. This has all been known for some time.”

Engineered Viruses Created in Government Labs Validate Mass Vaccinations

Canadian researchers have concluded that the H1N1 flu shot is more dangerous than the flu it purports to protect against. The timing of this study’s release coincided with North American and certain part of Europe preparing to promote massive vaccination efforts on their citizens. Under a propaganda pandemic campaign to fear the public into having the inoculation, this study placed a snag in their plans.

At the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) study author Dr. Danuta Skowronski explained that in 2008 a study she co-authored proved that the flu shot caused more physiological issues than the H1N1 flu itself.

Skowronski explains that “pandemics are infrequent occurrences, but seasonal influenza recurs on an annual basis. It’s a substantial cause of morbidity and mortality and the seasonal vaccine substantially protects against that severe outcome due to seasonal influenza.”

Vaccinations for the H1N1 are ineffective because the inoculation cannot prevent infection or support the body’s development of immunity. However, having been exposed to the flu gives the human body the antibody build-up that facilitates the actions of the human immune system.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a warning last month to parents to have their children vaccinated against H3N2 which is a new strain of flu that the US government is purveying against the public. County fairs and exposure to pigs is being touted as the cause of the contraction of H3N2.

Tom Skinner, CDC spokesperson said that cases reported involved pigs however, “we’re not seeing any sustained transmission human to human, but we’re keeping an eye out.”

Skinner added, without substantial evidence, that this new mysterious strain could mutate genes and cause it to be more contiguous. And because of this new strain, vaccinations must be administered to the general public “to keep them safe.”

More bird flu fear-mongering of an epidemic that never was came to the public last June when it was reported that H5N1 was allegedly spreading “rapidly between humans.”

This study focused on how an epidemic is created and development of drugs to subvert a pandemic. Mutations enabling H5N1 to transmit human to human shows a genetic difference in this strain when compared to other viruses. When inspected, this strain showed signs of being genetically engineered, according to a research team from Cambridge University.

A genetically engineered virus being passed off as the validation for mass vaccinations is the hallmark of a bioweapon with an agenda.

To validate the threat of bird flu to the public, officials at the Department of Natural Resources in Ontario, Canada decided to massacre hundreds of pelicans, gulls, herons and egrets back in August of this year.

The dangers of vaccines have been covered by the pharmaceutical corporation’s endless push that public concerns are unfounded. As with the push for young girls to have the Gardasil vaccine, there has not been inconclusive evidence that the vaccine prevent cervical cancer. Furthermore, the infection it claims to protect again, the human papillomavirus (HPV) does not cause cervical cancer. HPV is a co-infection of several bacteria combined (such as Epstein Bar virus and Chlamydia).

The CDC has stated that the human immune system will clear HPV within 2 years and it is not the life threatening virus that would warrant being vaccinated against. Also, dietary combinations can reverse the effects of HPV more readily than the inoculation.

Covering up the deadly and dangerous effects of vaccines has become socially acceptable and rendered to citizens as well as drug corporations. With one anonymous complaint to a website in the UK, factual information showing a direct link to the MMR vaccine and autism was scrubbed.

The information posted on the Babyjabs website also referred to the MMR having been found with live strains of the virus which translated into the inoculated children’s brain and gut where the effects of autism are manifest.

According to Dr. Richard Halvorsen, author of “The Truth About Vaccines”: “If one in 800 MMR vaccinations triggered an autistic disorder, this would result in around 1,200 children a year in the UK being made autistic by the bundling of the vaccines. This is probably the worst case scenario.”

However, because the World Health Organization (WHO) does not recognize this evidence, it is purveyed as supposition and therefore reduced to misinformation in the public domain. This is evidence of the power of the global Elite over our belief systems.

The CDC recommends that the Hepatitis-B vaccine (HBV) be given to infants from the age of 0-6 months regardless of evidence to show that this practice is detrimental to the infant’s life. Newborns are at a greater risk of immune compromise when bombarded with vaccinations. These chemicals impair their ability to develop strong immune systems.

The HBV has been linked to liver failure as well as liver cell death based on a mutation that occurs because of the body’s exposure to the vaccine.

The FDA approved mercury-based preservative thimerosal is directly linked to neurological disorders in children.
Dr. David Geier found that there is a direct link between “mercury exposure from Thimerosal-preserved biological products (vaccines and Rho(D) products) and mercury poisoning diagnosed as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).”
The focus on eradicating polio with vaccines has produced a by-product. The advent of non-polio paralysis has become an epidemic that has been directly correlated with the use of the oral polio vaccine.

In India, where the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) along with WHO vaccinated thousands of children with the polio vaccine showed a development of non-polio paralysis. An estimated 47,500 children were affected by the efforts of BMGF and WHO.

BMGF were also involved in the deaths of thousands of Pakistani children when they and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI) inoculated against polio and those children died of non-polio paralysis.

The study, led by Gilles-Eric Seralini of the University of Caen, was the first ever study to examine the long-term (lifetime) effects of eating GMOs. You may find yourself thinking it is absolutely astonishing that no such studies were ever conducted before GM corn was approved for widespread use by the USDA and FDA, but such is the power of corporate lobbying and corporate greed.

The study was published in The Food & Chemical Toxicology Journal and was just presented at a news conference in London.

Findings from the study

Here are some of the shocking findings from the study:

• Up to 50% of males and 70% of females suffered premature death.

• Rats that drank trace amounts of Roundup (at levels legally allowed in the water supply) had a 200% to 300% increase in large tumors.

• Rats fed GM corn and traces of Roundup suffered severe organ damage including liver damage and kidney damage.

• The study fed these rats NK603, the Monsanto variety of GM corn that's grown across North America and widely fed to animals and humans. This is the same corn that's in your corn-based breakfast cereal, corn tortillas and corn snack chips.

France's Jose Bove, vice-chairman of the European Parliament's commission for agriculture and known as a fierce opponent of GM, called for an immediate suspension of all EU cultivation and import authorisations of GM crops. 'This study finally shows we are right and that it is urgent to quickly review all GMO evaluation processes,' he said in a statement. 'National and European food security agencies must carry out new studies financed by public funding to guarantee healthy food for European consumers.' Our analysis clearly reveals for the 3 GMOs new side effects linked with GM maize consumption, which were sex- and often dose-dependent. Effects were mostly associated with the kidney and liver, the dietary detoxifying organs, although different between the 3 GMOs. Other effects were also noticed in the heart, adrenal glands, spleen and haematopoietic system. We conclude that these data highlight signs of hepatorenal toxicity, possibly due to the new pesticides specific to each GM corn. In addition, unintended direct or indirect metabolic consequences of the genetic modification cannot be excluded.

New Pepsi Sweetener is Mixture of Dangerous Carcinogenic Chemicals

PepsiCo has decided that aspartame, a neuro-toxin used in their diet cola products as a sweetener, is not “sweet enough” and are “testing a new mix of artificial sweeteners” that will retain its potency longer than high fructose corn syrup.

The new mixture of sweeteners being tested includes acesulfame-potassium, or ace-K. The problem PepsiCo has with aspartame is that it is affected negatively in warm conditions that occur during shipping before their soda products arrive in retail stores.

In 1998, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of ace-K despite its known safety dangers. This chemical is most popularly used in baked goods, chewing gum and gelatin desserts according to the food safety advocacy group, the Center for Science in the Public Interest.

Ace-K, or acesulfame potassium , is a lab-created chemical that is 200 times sweeter than sucrose. Ace-K is suspected through research to have carcinogenic properties, yet this studied fact was dismissed and further studies were not conducted prior to the FDA approval.

In testing preformed on rats, ace-K was shown to stimulate dose-dependent insulin secretion. In further studies , ace-K provided more of a danger to male rats, than female rats with regard to their signal toward being cancer producing.

The chemical has a very strong after taste. To combat this phenomenon, Kraft Foods began using sodium ferulate to mask its bitterness.

Aspartame has been proven to be highly addictive because it causes actual cravings for the toxin. Many find that they cannot stop using the product because of the severe withdrawal symptoms.

Aspartic acid, also known as aspartate, acts as a neurotransmitter in your brain. It facilitates the transmission of information from neuron to neuron. Excessive amounts of aspartate in your brain kills neurons by permitting the invasion of massive amounts of calcium into the cells. This influx generates extreme levels of free radicals that kill the cells. The neural cell damage is caused by unwarranted use of aspartate. This is why they are denoted as “excitotoxins.” They “excite” or arouse the neural cells to death.

Back in March, rather than change labels to admit to poisoning their customers, PepsiCo altered their recipe by removing 4-methylimidazole (4-MI or 4-MEI), a known carcinogen, from their formula in soft drink products.

In 2011, mainstream media reported that certain brands of PepsiCo soft drinks contained a patented flame retardant used in plastics to keep carbonated drinks from becoming combustible. Over exposure to the toxin could lead to the necessity of medical attention for “skin lesions, memory loss and nerve disorders.”

A report from the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy stated that processed foods and beverages may contain mercury that was part of the process of deriving high fructose corn syrup. The FDA failed to make this independent study effective by acknowledging its findings.

Mercury impairs neurological development, as well as has a dramatic effect on the human nervous system. In children, mercury exposure manifests as autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Shockingly, PepsiCo have never denied their use of the deadly additive aspartame, nor its link to cancer. They stated publicly that the findings from scientific studies were untrue; essentially ignoring the fault and responsibility of their company to offer a product that did not endanger the health of the public. By denying the facts, their validity does not diminish.

U.S. Launching Cyber Warfare: Towards an Era of “Computer Virus Wars”?

The US is launching a new stage of the arms race – a race of offensive computer weapons. Namely, the US is going to arm itself with computer viruses in order to destroy the enemy’s computer networks. Besides, the US Defense Department is developing a computer program which would deduce the level of information security of the enemy’s strategic facilities.

Until now, the US has been denying that it had any plans of developing “computer weapons”.

A website devoted to US state procurements recently announced two tenders. The first one, announced by the US Air Force, is a tender for creating computer programs which would be able to destroy the enemy’s computer networks and put computer-operated devices out of order. The Air Force is planning to spend $ 10 mln on that.

The second tender was announced by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The agency is ready to spend $110 mln on creating a program which has already received the name “Plan X” – a digital map which would reflect the enemy’s military infrastructure.

“Most probably, this map will show, first of all, military bases, transport systems and electricity systems,” expert in the work of intelligence services Evgeny Yuschuk said in an interview with the Voice of Russia.

“In the case of a war, it would be quite expectable for the warring sides to try to put each other’s transport and electricity systems out of order. If these systems are operated by computers, they would try to use computer viruses.”

“Paradoxical as it may sound, with the appearance of computers and the Web, many kinds of equipment, including military equipment, became, in some points, more vulnerable,” Mr. Yuschuk continues. “Earlier, to put out of order, say, an enemy’s radar, an anti-missile device or a power plant, one had to throw a bomb at it or to send a group of diversionists. At present, they may be put out of order with the help of a computer virus program.”

Analysts say that wars of computer programs, in fact, have already started. For example, in May, Iran’s top officials discovered regular disappearances of secret information from their computers. Later, Iranian computer experts discovered that this information was stolen by a new virus spy program called “Flame”.

The abilities of this new spy program shocked computer experts. Specialists from the Kaspersky Laboratory (a Russian company which develops anti-virus programs, probably the most popular ones in Russia) say that “Flame” is currently the world’s most advanced hacker program.

“Strategically important facilities in Russia have also come under US virus programs’ attacks,” another Russian expert in the work of intelligent services, Andrey Masalovich, says.

“Attacks of virus programs have already become permanent – mainly, on nuclear power plants and on objects that have to do with the trade of weapons,” Mr. Masalovich says. “There have even been attacks on computer search engines, like the Russian Yandex.”

Sometimes, after an attack of a virus on a computer-operated facility or a computer network, it is hard to say who was behind this attack – amateur hackers or a secret intelligence service of a certain country.

Russia is now insisting that the UN should introduce a ban on creating and producing computer viruses and hacker programs.
